All coffee beans handled by Maruyama Coffee are sourced by our President who personally visits the farms to engage in direct trade. Effective, ongoing communication and developing family-like bonds with the producers is vital for obtaining high-quality beans. Such connections stabilize the producers' livelihoods and fuel their passion for producing top-quality coffee. Manufacturing and Roasting Techniques

Unique roasting techniques that enhance the natural flavors of the beans.

Maruyama Coffee's roasting philosophy focusses around fully bringing out the inherent flavors of the directly-sourced coffee beans. When heated to approximately 200 degrees Celsius, the internal components of green beans transform to release their distinct flavors and aromas. Our roasters meticulously evaluate the balance of acidity and aroma, choosing the optimal roasting method for each and every type of bean. A bean can yield multiple flavor profiles depending on the roaster's skill in accentuating different bean characteristics. Maruyama Coffee has a 'Loring Smart Roaster' from America in our facility to further enhance our roasting process. This roaster has an outstanding ability to capitalize on bean attributes and ensure of consistently high-quality, delicious coffee that meets our high standards.
